Abstract Nature is a completed body of work, entirely painted with watercolors on paper. This study explores the space of the paper, defying its limits by making the figures reach the borders. By giving watercolor such expansive space to navigate, the pigments behaved unpredictably, mirroring the behavior of nature. It also examines repetition, demonstrating the beauty of replication by playing with the paper's space and botanical forms. This was Victoria's first study of nature.
